Dolphins Stun Bears To Ruin Perfect Season Again
Miami knows what it is like to have a perfect season, as it is the only team to go undefeated in an NFL season in the leagues history.
Not only do they want that to be a distinction that they will forever hold, but they have made it a habit to oversee that it will not be the Chicago Bears that ties their record.
On Sunday, the Dolphins took what was perceived to be one of the NFL's worst teams to Soldier Field in Chicago. What they did there was nothing short of remarkable, as they pulled a stunning upset, in a surprisingly easy victory 31-13.
The Bears very well could have been overlooking the Dolphins with a date with the NY Giants looming next weekend, but as the Bears found out, there is no such thing as a sure victory in the NFL.
Chicago turned the football over four times in route to easily their worst performance of the season. They will have to pick up the pieces quickly and get ready for their meeting with the Giants.
Miami, on the other hand will still wake up tomorrow with a 2-6 record, but at least for a day they can savor in the moment of defending their teams legacy.
The loss by the Bears leaves Indianapolis as the lone undefeated team in the league and that perfect record is expected to be heavily tested tonight on the road against New England.
