Euro 2008 Final Match Gambling Odds: Spain Favored Over Germany

The Euro 2008 soccer tournament has but one match left. It is between two of the more storied soccer nation's in the history of the sport, Spain and Germany.

Spain is the gambling favorite to win the tournament at -175. Germany, however, is not much of an underdog. Their odds are +125.

Some sports books are expecting the game to be decided in extra time or penalty kicks. The odds are greater that one of the teams will win in regulation than they are for a tie.

Spain is coming off of a victory over Russia in the semi-finals in which they dominated play. That was after they had to escape with a win in penalty kicks against Italy.

Germany defeated an upstart Turkey team in the semi-finals. Turkey, which became known in this tournament for scoring dramatic late goals, could not do so against the Germans.

The game is set for Sunday afternoon and people in both country's will be watching. Soccer is the most popular sport in the world and when the stage gets as big as Euro 2008, almost every soccer fan in the world will be watching.
