Fantasy Baseball Betting Soon Gives Way To Fantasy Football

For most fans who play fantasy sports, fantasy baseball is more challenging than fantasy football. That does not mean, however, that the majority of fantasy players do not enjoy football better than baseball when it comes to being a virtual GM.

The baseball season for fantasy owners is coming to a close, with only four or five weeks left. That means that the attention has already shifted from Albert Pujols to Tom Brady. With football drafts all throughout the month of August, the scouting has already begun.

Fantasy football is easier. There is no other way to put it. All that is required to compete in an NFL fantasy football league is a magazine from the local convenience store. In that magazine, everything is mapped out, who to pick, when to pick them, and who to avoid.

From there it is turned over to the fantasy gods. While baseball requires daily tweaking, football owners can put their teams on auto pilot after the draft. As long as they know when their players byes are, they can control their team without fear of being overwhelmed.

The preseason serves as a tool for all owners to evaluate talent. fantasy owners do the same thing. They watch the games, and they make determinations based on what their eyes tell them. Owners involved in baseball playoffs will have the biggest juggling act this month.

"I have played in both fantasy football and fantasy baseball over the past ten years, and many times on football draft day, I am watching to see if I make the playoffs in my baseball league," said Alberto Gonzag, "other years, I have been eliminated earlier and have been able to focus on football."

Whatever the individual situations are, fantasy football is here. The next five months will be dedicated to the sport, even though the first month may require split allegiances.
