Almost 37 million people are spending 50 minutes of time a week at their jobs running their fantasy teams during the N.F.L. season.
Fantasy football involves people starting up their own team made up of professional athletes, where the owner gets to make similar moves as that of a general manager. The "player" then tracks his teams performance through the week.
John Challenger, CEO of the consulting firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. says, "The potential damage to morale and loyalty resulting from a fantasy football ban could be far worse than the loss of productivity caused by ten minutes of online team management."
