Fiesta Bowl Gambling on Traveling Sooner Nation To Carry Bowl Game
The Fiesta Bowl like many other BCS Bowl games this year has a match up of two loss teams. Both Oklahoma and West Virginia had plans of playing for a national championship.
With late season losses, both teams fell out of the title hunt and are left to play in Tempe at the Fiesta Bowl. The Mountaineers not only lost out on a national title, they also lost their coach.
Rich Rodriguez was at a bowl game this year. It was not, however, with the team he coached this year, but with the Michigan Wolverines, watching his future players perform. He will be replacing Lloyd Carr as Michigan's head coach.
Sports books do not believe the Mountaineers can win without their former coach. They have been made seven and a half point underdog against Oklahoma. Analysts do expect alot of offense tonight. The total for the game is sixty one and a half.
Just a month ago it appeared West Virginia was in the drivers seat to play in the title game. An unbelievable loss to Pittsburgh in the season's final game and the resignation of their coach, have them reeling coming into tonight's game.
