Final BCS College Football Polls, Standings, Rankings, Released
The final BCS college football polls have been released and there were not many surprises and no team is that angry, other than Texas. Oklahoma came in #1 and they will play the #2 Florida Gators for the championship on January 8th in Miami at the Orange Bowl.
The anger comes because Texas beat Oklahoma. But then, Texas Tech beat Texas so it is hard to judge by those standards. Then there is Cincinnati and Boise State who are undefeated. This confusion, along with President-elect Barack Obama's call for a college football playoff, may finally result in the league giving the fans what they have wanted for years.
But then again, it may not because the big school BCS coaches and players love bowl games. Making a bowl game gives the school a ton of money, plus it gives the coaches and players a free trip to a beautiful city where they are catered and treated like celebrities for an entire week.
Anyway, enough of the banter, here are the final BCS college football polls, rankings, standings, or whatever else you want to call them:
