Florida To Face First Big Test in SEC This Week
The next four games for the Gators will almost certainly carve the teams BCS hopes, as Florida plays, Alabama, LSU, Auburn, and Georgia, a murderers row of SEC teams.
First up for the Gators comes at home Saturday against Alabama. The Crimson Tide are somewhat of a mystery this season and oddsmakers are not giving them much of a chance in this game.
The Gators opened as 13 point favorites and the line has gone all the way up to 16.5 today. Meaning that the gambling public is not putting much stock in Alabama winning the game.
Alabama's only hope may revolve around Florida overlooking the game and looking forward to next weeks showdown with LSU. Should this happen, the Tide is certainly capable of giving the Gators all that they can handle.
If the Gators do get through these next four games, they will position themselves perfecltly for a run at the National Championship game. It would be a quick turnaround for a program that was down prior to the arrival of head coach Urban Meyer.
