FSU Suddenly In A Must Win On Thursday Night College Football

On Thursday night, The Florida State Seminoles are traveling to North Carolina to play North Carolina State in a game that all of a sudden takes on a huge signifigance in the ACC.

North Carolina State started the season slowly struggling with a couple of division 2 football teams, but after a couple of big wins, and some zany losses by other teams, they suddenly find themselves in a position to control their own destiny in the conference.

The Seminoles offense has had a hard time getting started for the second straight season, and they are well aware that if they do not right the ship on Thursday night, they could be facing an insurmountable defecit in the ACC.

A loss at N.C. State, and the Seminoles would have 2 conference losses, and more importantly will have to jump over 4 teams to win their half of the conference.

The game will be televised live on ESPN. Florida State has had problems with the Wolfpack the past few seasons as former seminole assistant coach Chuck Amato continually gives his mentor Bobby Bowden fits.

The Seminoles are a 10.5 point favorite in the game, and the total for the game is 40.
