Gamblers Always Remember The Last Week of The NFL Season
Anyone who has rode the coat tails of the New England Patriots has done very well gambling this football season. If you were gutsy enough to lay big numbers early in the year, the payout was there.
Now, gamblers have one final shot at beating sports books and claiming a winning season, even if they have not won. This week can erase from memory all the losing that has gone on up until now.
Gamblers have very short term memories when it comes to losing. they are quick to point out all of the winners they have chosen, but fail to mention the losses. That is what makes this last week of betting so important.
If gamblers can win in the final week, they will consider it a successful season. Many of them will have lost large amounts of money throughout the year, but a win this week, and they will be linked to the great handicappers. At least in their own minds.
The Patriots go for a perfect season this week. Gamblers will surely jump on their bandwagon one last time. If the Pats cover, gamblers will tell stories for years to come of how they made much money the year New England went undefeated. Even if they did lose all year long.
