Gambling on Baseball Futures Comes Down To The Last Month
The last month of the Major League Baseball season usually has plenty of drama thanks to the pennant races. Another factor makes the last month intriguing as well. That factor is proposition bets.
When the baseball season starts, much of the gambling that takes place has to do with season totals. Not just wins and losses, but also how individual players will perform.
There are hundreds of bets that could have been made before this year started. How many games the Yankees or Marlins would win. Whether Johan Santana would win the Cy Young Award. Which player will hit more home runs, Vlad Guerrero or Albert Pujols.
These are just examples of all of the bets that could have been made. Now, with one month left in the season, it is time for some of these bets to pay off, or, in other cases, to cost gamblers money.
With college football already starting and pro football less than a week away, all that is left for baseball gamblers are their prop bets. They will be tuning in attentively down the stretch.
While other people will be focused on the pennant races, these people might just be looking for one last win out of the Oakland A's.
