Gambling Underdog Boston Celtics On Brink Of NBA Championship

The Boston Celtics had one of the most dominating regular seasons in NBA history this year. They battled through the playoffs and arrived to face the Los Angeles Lakers in the finals.

Even after their great season, many people were gambling that the Lakers would win. Right now, the Celtics are in the process of making all those gamblers look foolish.

Boston came back from twenty four points down in game four to take a three to one series lead. No NBA team has ever lost the championship after leading the finals three to one.

The Lakers came out on fire on Thursday night. They were stifling the Celtic offense, and hitting shot after shot in building an eighteen point lead. That was all before halftime.

In the second half, the Lakers continued to pour it on early. They then appeared to get too comfortable with their lead. It was then that the Celtics stole not only the game, but also most likely an NBA title.

Boston created a furious late third and fourth quarter rally and are now just one win away from becoming NBA champions. Game five will be in Los Angeles on Sunday.
