Garcia Set To Show Skills in Prime Time

Visit Golden Casino! The Philadelphia Eagles host the Carolina Panthers on Monday night football and their starting quarterback will be 36 year old Jeff Garcia.

The Eagles are sure to have Donovan Mcnabb back for next season so toinght's game could work as sort of a showcase for Garcia, who believes he still has what it takes to be a starting qb in this league.

There are certainly many teams who will be looking for a starter next year and most of those GM's will be watching closely tonight to see if, indeed, Garcia does have something worth bringing to the table.

Carolina comes into tonight's game as somewhat of a mystery, they were predicted by many to win the Super bowl this year, but they have not played all that well at times and are flirting with the disaster of not making the playoffs if they don't get things going in the right direction.

A win tonight over the Eagles would put the Panthers at 7-5 and on the cusp of making the playoffs, but a loss tonight would mean the Panthers would have to finish the season strongly to make the playoffs and they have a tough schedule down the stretch.

Tonight's game will air on ESPN at 8:30. The current betting line is Panthers minus three.
