Gators And Tigers Ready For Another SEC College Football Battle

The Auburn Tigers have not started the season the way they had hoped, but a win over the Florida Gators this week will go a long way towards curing what is ailing them so far this season.

The Gators come into this game with the idea of avoiding an upset. They are ranked in the top five again and are coming into this game with extreme caution, knowing the Tigers still have enough weapons to cause concern.

In most years, this game would be a match up of top ten teams and a trip to the national championship is a likely scenario for the winner. Just because the Tigers appear to be down this year, does not make them any less dangerous to the Gators.

If Florida did have any plans of overlooking anybody on their schedule, Auburn will not be that team. Last year, the Tigers stunned the Gators and almost cost them a shot at the national title, which Florida ended up winning.

Revenge is always a motivating factor in conference battles and this year it will be Florida looking to avenge their only blemish on last year's national title teams record.

Florida had a tough time in Mississippi last week and that game showed that no matter who the better team is, when you are playing inside your own conference you better show up to play for four quarters, if not, deja vu could set in for the Gators.
