Giants And Bears To Square Off For NFC Supremacy
The Chicago Bears and the New York Giants are set for a Sunday night showdown in the Meadowlands with the winner taking the lead in the race for home field advantage in the NFC.
Chicago comes into the game on the heels of their first loss of the season to the Miami Dolphins, and while players insist they were not looking ahead, it is conceivable that the Bears were looking forward to their game with the Giants.
New York heads into the game being the leagues hottest team after starting the season slowly they have taken control of the NFC East division and are now in position to take the lead in the race for home field advantage.
Both teams were predicted before the season to be at the top of the NFC and neither team has dissappointed. The Bears started the season 7-0 before falling to the Dolphins last week. The Giants are 6-2.
The Giants received some bad news this week as starting wide receiver Amani Toomer will be out for the rest of the season.
The game tonight will be at 8:15 and will be televised on NBC.
