Giants Take Control of NFC East By Whipping The Cowboys
Two teams came into Monday night football this week with asperations of leaving on top of their division, one team left reaching their goals, the Giants, and another team left with question marks, the Cowboys.
The Giants piled on points early and often en route to a huge road victory against a divisional foe, now they find themselves all alone atop the NFC East division at 4-2.
Dallas, which is beginnning to have a bit of a quarterback controversy, did not get much from either of their two candidates as both Drew Bledsoe and Tony Romo both made costly mistakes Monday night leading to N.Y. touchdowns.
The Giants are playing the leagues toughest schedule, but so far they look to not be affected by it's difficulty as they have now had big wins over all three of their division rivals, the Eagles, the Redskins, and now after monday night the Cowboys.
The Giants return home next week to face Tampa Bay, who is coming off two last minute victories.
Dallas will have to pick up the pieces from this loss quickly as they go on the road next week to face Carolina.
