Golf Betting Returns To The Norm With Tiger Woods Back

If there was ever a favorite that gamblers do not mind putting their hard earned money on, it is Tiger Woods. He has become the closest thing to a "sure bet" that sports has to offer. he has also been off the PGA tour since having surgery and another child.

While woods was gone, it was almost as if the golf world stood still. The compelling story lines were few and far between, and there simply was nobody that stepped up and dominated as Woods has throughout his career.

Now, Woods is back, playing at Doral this weekend, and it is once again time for betting odds to be restored to normalcy. Whether or not Woods wins this weekend does not matter, just the fact that he is back out on tour makes the game more relevant.

Many believe that Woods could be even more dominant now than he was before the surgery. That is a hard concept to grasp since Woods was already considered by the majority to be one of the two best golfers of all time.

Jack Nicklaus still has many of the records that Woods is chasing, but that may not be the case for long. Woods is creeping up on Nicklaus' Major tournament record, and also on several other significant golf records.

Woods returns this weekend in full force, the preliminary tournaments out of the way. Doral, and the entire PGA tour, will happily welcome the best player in the sport back.
