Gordon Price Wins Inaugural Casino Gambling Web Fantasy Football League
Casino Gambling Web has been just one of Gordon Price's brilliant mind concoctions. Another one might have been taking Tom Brady in this year's inaugural CGW fantasy football league.
The league ended on Monday night along with many other fantasy leagues worldwide. Price's team put on a strong showing all week and locked up the championship Monday night with the poor performance from Jay Cutler.
Price, who has been a highly successful entrepreneur, beat out staff editor Terry Goodwin for the title. The match was never really in doubt after the Patriot game Sunday.
Members of Price's staff have been teasing him all year for his non attendance at the league draft. Price, from Canada, had been away on business in Paris at the time. One of his longtime friends, Bob L. drafted his team for him.
Price has been quick to point out that his mid-season moves were just as valuable as the stellar draft that Bob L. executed. Aaron Stecker and Ryan Grant, two running backs that were picked up by Price, played a huge role in victories the past two weeks.
Other members of Price's winning team were, Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Vernon Davis, and the Cowboys defense.
"To win my first title in fantasy sports is something special," said Price, "while I have accomplished many things in my professional career, having bragging rights for the next year over my employees will be something I have fun with."
