Griffey Activated: Sportsbooks Barely Notice
The Cincinnati Reds have activated Ken Griffey Jr. from the disabled listed for tonight's game versus the Washington Nationals. Strangely enough, sportsbooks haven't seemed to notice, barely moving the Reds off the 172 price tag they opened at earlier in the day and holding the total at 9 runs. No, we haven't moved it all, says Bodog. com linesmaker Todd Allen. We just want to stay in line with the other books and it looks like Griffey hasn't made any impact at all. Griffey has been on the disabled list since April 17 after injuring his knee five days earlier. In eight games this season, the future Hall of Famer is hitting. 258 with two doubles and two home runs with the Reds up 1. 75 units and the O/U going 5-3 in those games.
