Hell's Kitchen Betting Haulted by Online Sportsbook
Several years ago the infamous Bodog sportsbook stopped taking bets on who would win the Survivor reality TV show. It was reported then that insiders who worked on the CBS show were using their information to make bets on the winner, along with spreading that information to others. Peculiar betting patterns were noticed and Bodog security pulled the bet. Now they are pulling another bet on a reality TV show.
This time the show is Hell's Kitchen, a cooking show where Gordon Ramsay plays an army like enforcer where one cook is eliminated every week. Bodog again was seeing abnormal betting patterns on Rock, a 30-year-old executive chef from Spotsylvania. Bodog's odds on his victory went from 7-to-1 when betting on the show began and went down to 2-to-1 by the time of the show premiered Monday night.
"Upon further investigation of the suspicious betting patterns, Bodog.com's security department established a number of links to employees of the television network responsible for Hell's Kitchen 3," Bodog spokesman Greg Godden told Reality TV World. According to Godden, Bodog's investigation is still on-going and the security department is continuing to research further details.
It is still not definitive proof that Rock will win the third Hell's Kitchen reality TV show series, but enough peculiar shaped bets were made to make the wagers suspicious, therefore Bodog is permanently pulling bets for this season's show.
