Indianapolis Remains Undefeated After Trouncing Washington

The word around the league this season was that the Colts would severely miss running back Edgerrin James and that the offense would not be as high powered as in past years, someone forgot to give Peyton Manning that news as he once again tourched an opposing defense.

The Colts exploded in the second half for 23 points, all a product of Manning's golden arm.

After trailing 14-13 going into halftime, the Colts came out of the locker room focused on keeping their perfect record in tact.

This is the second straight season that the Colts have started the year 6-0.

In other action on Sunday, the Raiders got their first victory of the season by defeating the Cardinals 22-9. Oakland, who was so bad the first few weeks that they had people saying they might not win a game, got a solid performance from their defense, and just enough from a sporadic offense to beat the reeling Cardinals.
