Indians, Cubs, Brewers, D-Backs Set To Pay Off Baseball Gamblers

The drama that is set to unfold in the last week of the Major League baseball season is sure to have fans scoreboard watching and hanging on every pitch, but for bettors, the results could mean big money.

The Arizona Diamondbacks were the third pick in their division according to preseason betting odds. Now, Arizona is looking to reward any gambler who had the vision to place money on them winning. If they win, sportsbooks will pay off $365 for every $100 bet.

The Padres, the other team with NL West hopes, will pay $254 per $100, if they should catch the D-Backs and win the division.

In the East, the Mets are trying to hold on, and even if they win their -$105 odds will not net much money for winners, but if the Phillies should catch them, Philadelphia would return $265 per hundred.

Two other divisional races are still undetermined and in the AL East, the two favored teams, the Red Sox and Yankees are battling for the division, so not much will be won there.

In the NL Central, the Brewers and Cubs both could make gamblers happy should they win. Chicago was +$215, and Milwaukee +$245, so either way there will be a good payout from this division.

The final two divisions have already been virtually locked up, with the Indians set to return $285 for their supporters, and the Angels, the favorite in the West getting even money.
