Lakers And Nuggets Providing Gamblers With Much Anxiety
An NBA basketball game is perhaps the toughest sport to watch for gamblers. The back and forth action can be grueling on anyone who has wagered on the game, and the swings in momentum can be downright torturous.
That is why the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets are providing gamblers with a chance to hit the antacids. The first two games of the Western Conference finals have been tough on the betting public.
In both games, one of the teams took big leads in the first half. It was the Nuggets in game one, and the Lakers in game two. Despite the big leads, the halftime score was separated by just one point in both games.
"The first two games of this series have been unbelievable for the average NBA fan," said sports fan Mike Fralert, "but for gamblers, these certainly are not the type games that make them want to come back for more."
The end of the first two games were decided in the last two minutes. In game one it was the Lakers that survived, and in game two, it was the Nuggets. Now the series shifts to Denver.
If the next two games, tonight and Monday, are as hotly contested as the last two, gamblers may once again be in for a roller coaster ride. Judging from the style of the two teams, there is nothing that suggests that will not happen.
