Leinart or Young: Who will go first?
For the first time in six years a quarterback won?t be the No. 1 overall draft pick. Reggie Bush is going to draw that honor, barring a surprise of biblical proportions.
But that doesn?t mean there isn?t quarterback interest in this draft. Taking advantage of this interest, Sportsbook.com has a proposition bet on which quarterback will go first Saturday.
"Everybody bets on football and the draft is no different," said Sportsbook.com spokesman Alex Czajkowski.
Southern Cal?s Matt Leinart is the favorite with odds of 1-3. On Wednesday he was 2-3, and earlier in the week you could have scooped him up at a generous 5-11. Vince Young of Texas is at 3-1, up from 3-2 on Wednesday, and Jay Cutler of Vanderbilt is
15-1.
