London Gamings Comp. Reports Huge 3Q Increase During World Cup
London's online gaming and sports betting operator Interactive Gaming Holdings Plc ("IGH" or "the Group") (AIM:IGH), announced yesterday in a press release their six month quarter 3 trading update.
The higlights of the update were that John Heaton, former CEO of the Tote, was appointed as Interactive Gaming Holdings' Chief Executive Officer.
Other mentions were of redesigned websites released by PremierBet and Heathorns, two subsidaries of Interactive Gaming Holdings. PremierBet was a late addition to their comanies arsenal.
It was reported that 5 million pounds worth of bets were taken over the World Cup with new registrations increasing by three times the rate previous.
"The first half of our financial year was a period of significant change at IGH with the creation of an infrastructure to enable us to drive future growth, the implementation of the new Orbis software platform and the development and launch of our Casino," said John Heaton, Chief Executive Officer. "The costs of these investments were in line with expectations and place the Group in an extremely strong position going forward , with the benefits already being felt. We have two strong brands in PremierBet and Heathorns and we are ideally placed to drive profitable growth."
