Masters Golf Gambling Has Tiger Woods As Overwhelming Favorite

The Masters is the most prestigious professional golf tournament. When one thinks of the Masters in this day and age, only one name comes to mind. Tiger Woods.

Woods has dominated the golf world since he came on the scene. there is nobody in his entire career, that has been able to compete on his level for an extended period of time.

Only a couple of athletes have ever had an individual impact on a sport as Woods has currently in golf. Michael Jordan in basketball, and Wayne Gretzky in hockey. The list pretty much ends there.

As the Masters gets ready for another of its famous tournaments, Woods is the overwhelming favorite to win another green jacket. he is listed at -120. Nobody else is even close.

Phil Mickelson, who has shown flashes of brilliance, is the next choice at +850. Vijay Singh is the third choice at +1200, and Ernie Els is +1800. Nobody else is less than a twenty to one long shot.

With the tournament starting on Thursday, there is no doubting that it is Woods' to win or lose. If he plays his game, he will run away from the field. If he plays poorly, there is an outside chance somebody can wrestle the title away from him.

Gamblers like to play underdogs, but in this case, betting against the favored Woods will most likely be a losing proposition.
