It is true that the national championship game for college football will not be played for another couple of weeks, but it is what comes before that game that has made college football what it is today.
Wake Forest and Navy kick off the 2008 bowl season on Saturday morning. The game begins a two week journey through some of the most successful teams in the country this year.
The Demon Deacons had higher expectations coming into the season than playing in the Eaglebank Bowl. They had their sights set on Miami, where the ACC champion will be playing in the Orange Bowl.
The season, however, did not turn out how Wake Forest fans had hoped, and now they will be starting bowl season with their game against the Midshipmen. With the first game, the

In addition to the first game, there are also three other bowl games that will be played on Saturday. BYU is the most high profile of the other teams that are playing, yet they are underdogs against Arizona.
