Moment of Truth Finally Arrives For Super Bowl Gamblers
The long, tedious NFL football season has led football nation to Glendale, Arizona. The site of this year's Super Bowl is ready for the big game, and after two weeks of hype, so are the teams.
The New England Patriots and New York Giants have made it through two grueling weeks of preparation and now are ready to step onto the biggest stage in the world.
For gamblers, it is crunch time. The debate that has been raging inside their heads for two weeks must culminate late this afternoon with a decision. Whether that decision is right or wrong, it is one that finally must be made.
With two of the NFL's more popular teams playing today, the odds are strong that many gamblers will be betting with their hearts. Whether that means loving one of these teams, or, hating one, the decision will come down to preference, not logic for these gamblers.
For everyone else, it is time to make the best informative decision that their minds allow for. The Patriots are the heavy favorites over the Giants, but as the New England franchise showed a few years back against St. Louis, sports books odds mean nothing in this game.
The time has arrived. Pitchers and catchers report in less than two weeks. But before the NFL gives way to the boys of summer, one thing is still left to be determined. Which Northeastern team will bring the Lombardi Trophy home. That is the question weighing on gamblers minds today.
