NBA And NHL Gambling Soon Will Be Gone, Leaving Only Baseball
After college basketball season is over, gamblers shift their attention to the NBA and the NHL. Those seasons are nearing their conclusions, which will end another wave of sports gambling.
Professional football is the most popular sport to gamble on. When the NFL season ends, gamblers take comfort in the fact that they can move on to college basketball and March Madness. Once that ends it is the NBA and NHL.
Now that those seasons are coming to a close gamblers will have to turn their attention to baseball. The Major League season is long and carries on through the summer, but it also is the only game in town.
There are some interesting story lines in baseball this season. The two Florida teams are currently in first place in their division. Both were picked last by most sports betting facilities.
On the other hand, the two New York teams, the Mets and the Yankees, have yet to play good baseball. It is still early in the year, but gamblers can now start to get a sense of trends in the league.
With NFL preseason not coming around for a few months, and the NBA and NHL seasons winding down, baseball will be the choice of gamblers for the summer.
