NBA Basketball Betting Begins Again With March To The Championship

The NBA season is not exactly split up evenly between games played before the all star break and after, but the players and coaches know what time it is when the mid season break is over. It is time to start readying for the playoffs.

That usually means good news for gamblers. Betting becomes a lot easier when the good teams start turning it up in the second half. Teams like the Celtics and Lakers will begin focusing in on their goal of meeting again in the finals.

The Lakers have already made their second half inte4ntions known when they demolished the Atlanta Hawks in both teams' first game back. Los Angeles led this game the entire way, and have served notice to the Western Conference that they have no plans of sitting home for the finals.

One of the intriguing teams over the next thirty or so games could be the Phoenix Suns. They have fired Terry Porter as their coach and are bringing back their up tempo running style that for a long period of time made them one of the most feared teams in the West.

Boston will turn their attention towards holding off Cleveland and Orlando for the top seed in the East. The Celtics are still lacking a bit off the bench, something they are hoping to fix before tomorrow's trade deadline.

Cleveland has been the best team in the league at home but took a little ego bruise shortly before the all star break when the Lakers came in and broke up their perfect home record. Now they will have to regroup and stabilize before the playoffs.
