The first round of the NBA playoffs were filled with upsets, from the San Antonio Spurs defeating the Dallas Mavericks, to the Utah Jazz disposing of the Denver Nuggets. What the first round was to excitement, the second round has been to boredom.

Three of the four second round series' have ended in sweeps. Phoenix took care of their business of sweeping San Antonio over the weekend, and Orlando and Los Angeles swept Atlanta and Utah on Monday night.

Now, all that is left is the most entertaining of the second round match ups. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics are locked at two games apiece with a pivotal game five set for tonight in Cleveland. After the Celtics wrestled home court away from the Cavs in game two, Cleveland regained the advantage in game three.

If Cleveland wins tonight, they are guaranteed no less than a game seven at home. If Boston wins, however, Cavs fans could conceivably be seeing the last home game ever for LeBron James in Cleveland. James can become an unrestricted free agent after the playoffs end.

Boston received an amazing performance in game four from Rajon Rondo. The point guards triple double helped even the series, and it has created panic in Cleveland. James has said in recent days that he may take the defensive assignment in game five to stop Rondo.

In the NBA, home court advantage is big at this point in a series. In the cavaliers can hold serve this evening, they would again become the favorites to win the title that they have been all season long. A Boston win, however, and the walls may start crumbling in Cleveland, leading to a stress-filled couple of months.
