NBA Betting Shifts To All-Star Game To Finish Off The Weekend
The NBA does All-Star games like no other sport. They truly celebrate their top athletes by giving them a weekend filled with skill competitions and dunk contests. The weekend culminates with the game itself.
For gambler, the weekend has been filled with surprises, such as Paul Pierce winning the three-point competition. Other events ended with the same results as in past years. Nate Robinson won the slam dunk competition.
The game itself, however, is where gamblers will get the most for their money. The top players in the world will all be on display, and the game usually matches the hype with some memorable moments and big buckets.
LeBron James and Dwight Howard will lead an East squad that will take on a Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire-led West team. The West will be without Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant, two of the top players in the league.
The East squad will also be missing some top talent, but there are plenty of exciting players that are stepping in, including the New York Knicks' David Lee and Chicago's Derek Rose.
The All-Star games in the NBA are usually high scoring affairs, and that should again be the case Sunday evening. The two teams have plenty of offensive fire power, and not much defense in played in these exhibition games.
