NBA Closer To Betting Bonanza In Finals After Cavs, Lakers, Win
The dream match up for the NBA has already started being promoted. Nike and Vitamin Water have both started running adds in the Kobe versus LeBron debate. Which one of the stars is better, that is the question everyone wants to know.
For the NBA, the equation to finding out the answer is crystal clear. Have the two stars and their teams meet in the finals, and settle the debate on the court.
That is the conclusion that NBA analysts have been predicting all year, and with both teams in the conference finals, it looked as if it was a legitimate conclusion to reach. Enter the Denver Nuggets and Orlando Magic.
They may be the underdogs in these series, but they showed early on that they were not going to bow down to the Lakers and Cavaliers. The Magic and the Nuggets both seized home court advantage on their opponents home court.
Just when it looked like all of the ads were going to go for not, the stars again took over and showed why they are considered to be the two best players in the world. First it was James with a buzzer beating three pointer that lifted the Cavaliers from the brink of a 2-0 series deficit.
Then it was Bryant's turn on Saturday night. He was clutch down the stretch as he always is, and hit a back breaking three pointer to give the Lakers the lead for good with one minute left to go in game three in Denver.
Now, all that the Lakers and Cavaliers will have to do is hold serve the rest of the conference finals and the NBA should get that dream match up.
