NBA Gambling Odds Coming Down To Final Four, Lakers Still Favored
For anyone who feels like the Major League Baseball season drags on, they should check out the NBA playoffs. The playoffs have gone on for what seems like a year, but are finally getting down to the final four teams.
Three of the teams have already been determined, with a forth, San Antonio having a big lead in their game seven with New Orleans. Once that game is complete, the final four will be set.
Odds makers still have the Los Angeles Lakers as the favorites to win the championship. A win by the Lakers would complete a nice season for star player Kobe Bryant. Bryant already has won the league NBA award.
In the Eastern Conference, the number one seed Boston Celtics escaped their second straight game seven on Sunday. They defeated LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Their opponent in the finals will be no stranger to the conference finals. The Detroit Pistons have been regulars in this round of the playoffs, but they have come up short of winning titles for the past several years.
The Lakers and the Celtics are predicted to meet in the finals, and if that occurs, many of the two teams former stars will be in attendance at the games. The two teams played legendary series' back in the eighties.
