NFL Betting Odds: Cowboys Favored Heavily Over The Bengals

The Dallas Cowboys were the popular pick to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl this year. True, they do play in the same division as the defending champion New York Giants, but experts still believe the Cowboys are a better team this year.

Through the first several weeks of the season, they have not shown they are the better team. They were sloppy in early season wins, and last week that sloppiness caught up to them when they lost to the Washington Redskins in Dallas.

This week, odds makers believe the Cowboys will bounce back in a big way. They are favored by seventeen against the win-less Cincinnati Bengals. Like last week, the Cowboys will be at home.

That point spread is the only one of Sunday's games that is over ten points. Carolina is the closest in their game against Kansas City. The Panthers are favored by 9.5, even though the Chiefs are coming off of an upset win over Denver.

The point spread in Houston is indicating just how far the Colts have fell. They are only favored by three over the Texans. A similar situation is occurring in San Francisco, where the New England Patriots are only favored by a field goal over the 49ers.

The Sunday night game might be the most intriguing of all the games this weekend. The Steelers travel to face the Jaguars, the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last season. Jacksonville is favored by four.
