NFL Betting Odds Holding Steady, Steelers Still Home Underdogs
Either the sports books hit the nail on the head for what the betting public would gamble on, or the bettors have not yet come out. Whatever the case may be, the betting lines for this weekends NFL games have not moved.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are still the only home team that is an underdog. That is because they are playing a team in the Jacksonville Jaguars who some believe not only will beat the Steelers, but have the best shot at ending the Patriots perfect season.
The other Saturday game has the Washington Redskins traveling to face the Seattle Seahawks. The betting line in this game has stayed steady at Seahawks minus three and a half.
On Sunday, the Buccaneers are favored by a field goal over the Giants. Tampa Bay is trying to get back to the Super Bowl for the first time in several years.
The game the odds makers see as the biggest blowout of the weekend is in San Diego, where the Chargers host the Titans. San Diego is favored by nine.
For the first time in years, most analysts have been predicting that all four road teams have strong shots at pulling off upsets. that means that gamblers should proceed with caution when betting against the home teams.
