NFL Betting Odds: Vikings And Ravens In Defensive Showdown
The Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens possess two of the more aggressive defenses in the NFL. They have both been ranked among the leagues best over the past several years, and today they get a chance to show who is better.
The Ravens will travel to face the Vikings in what is shaping up to be a possible defensive showdown. Ray Lewis and his Ravens teammates have two consecutive losses, and for a prideful defense, that could mean it is time to be nasty.
Minnesota, meanwhile, is undefeated and has handled all challenges so far. One of those challenges was defeating Brett Favre's old team, Green Bay. Now, Favre will have to show that he can handle a big pressure defense without turning the ball over and reverting to his gunslinger days.
The Baltimore, Vikings, game is just one of the many intriguing match ups for today. The Giants and Saints play in a match up of the two top teams in the NFC. Win-less Tennessee plays against New England, and Chicago travels to play Atlanta.
The betting lines for some of these games reflect what kind of battles that odds makers are expecting. Minnesota is favored by three over Baltimore, and the Falcons are 3.5 point favorites over the Bears.
Seattle and Arizona are also squaring off in what could be a big game in the NFC West. The Seahawks are favored by three at home, but the Cardinals are the defending NFC champions and should be ready for the game.
