NFL Betting Odds Week One: Patriots Biggest Favorite

The NFL betting odds have been released and it comes as no surprise that the New England Patriots are the biggest favorites on the board. They came within one Eli Manning pass of an undefeated season last year.

The Patriots have one of the softest schedules in the league this year. That is a bit of a shock considering they won their division last year. Usually division winners play the toughest schedule in the league.

New England is favored by 16.5 points at home against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. That is an unusually high number for this early in the season. The next closest line is Indianapolis, who is also at home and favored by 9.5 over the Bears.

The defending champion New York Giants open up their season on Thursday night. They will face Washington. The Giants are favored by four. Dallas, who owned the NFC's best record last year is a 5.5 point favorite over Cleveland.
