NFL Betting Preview: Baltimore And Indy Highlight Week Eleven
There are so many poor teams in the NFL that in some weeks this season it has been tough to find a top match up of playoff contending teams. This would be one of those weeks, with only a couple of big games on the docket.
Baltimore and Indianapolis is the headline game of the upcoming week. The Colts are in search of a perfect season, and the Ravens are trying to hold on to their playoff hopes after a tough stretch that saw them lose four out of five games.
Baltimore seemed to have righted their ship on Monday night when they beat the lowly Browns. In order to prove they have turned the corner, however, the Ravens must show up and play well against the Colts.
Indianapolis, in the meantime, snatched victory from the jaws of defeat this past week with a little help from Bill Belichick. The Patriots coach was heavily criticized for going for a fourth down conversion on his own side of the field in the latter stages of the game Sunday night.
The Colts capitalized on the failed fourth down by scoring a touchdown with almost no time left on the clock. They remained perfect, and now must go on the road to a hostile environment in Baltimore.
The other game with possible playoff implications this week takes place in New York, where the Giants try and salvage what is left of their season. They will be taking on a team they are in a playoff battle with in Atlanta.
