Monday Night Football has been home to some of the best playoff-like games over the past couple of decades. Tonight, another one of those games with playoff implications takes place between the Green Bay Packers and the Baltimore Ravens.

The Packers will be hosting the Ravens, which will give them the advantage of a raucous crowd at Lambeau Field. The Ravens, however, have one of the best defenses in the league, a fact that is always key in neutralizing opposing crowds.

The Packers have been one of the hottest teams in football as of late. Green Bay features an aerial attack that is rivaled by few when quarterback Aaron Rodgers gets time in the pocket to throw. The offensive line, however, has been a sore spot this season.

Baltimore is again led by future Hall of Famer ray Lewis. The ex-Hurricanes linebacker has become the most dependable defensive player in the league, and again has his Ravens in position to make a playoff push.

The playoff picture is murky in both the AFC and NFC. The Ravens can pull ahead of the Steelers for second in the AFC North with a win. They would be one game in front of the Steelers. A loss would drop them into a tie with Pittsburgh, Miami, and the Jets.

Green Bay is in a similar situation in the NFC. They must win to keep pace with the Giants, who beat the Cowboys for the second time this season on Sunday. Green Bay is trailing the Vikings in their division, and has lost both games to Minnesota this year.
