Now that the title games are set for the AFC and the NFC, analysts have already started to weigh in on the match ups, and the different styles that will be played. The NFC game is expected to be a high scoring affair.

There is not much of an argument that can be made that the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings were not the two best teams in the NFC for most of the year. Although the Saints are the number one seed, there are many who believe that Minnesota may be the more balanced team.

"When you look at these two teams, there is one glaring difference and that is the pass rush of Minnesota's defense," said Analyst Barry Grubbard, "Minnesota can run, pass, and has an overwhelming defense at times, where the Saints have shown signs of vulnerability on defense."

That does not mean, however, that the majority of people think Minnesota is the favorite. In fact, New Orleans has been made a 4.5 point favorite by odds makers. That is in contrast to the 7.5 point the Indianapolis has been made over the New York Jets.

The AFC game will feature a Jets defense that has been among the league's best all season long. New York is only in this position because Indianapolis rested their starters in the second half of a match up back in the fifteenth game of the year.

This time, New York's heralded defense will have to deal with the MVP of the NFL, Peyton Manning, for four quarters. That is a task that even the most prideful of defenses do not want to take on.

The AFC game also features a strong Colts defense. Odds makers expect a low scoring affair in Indianapolis, with the total currently sitting at 40. The NFC title game has a total of 51.5, signaling that a lot of scoring is expected.
