NFL Betting Sunday Could Hinge On Injury Status
This is the time of the season where NFL teams have to start playing well if they are going to make the playoffs and make a strong post season run. It is also a week that becomes important for gamblers with the season winding down.
One of those teams is the New England Patriots. A few weeks ago it appeared as though the patriots were on their way to cruising to an AFC East title. Now, the team has slipped to only a one game lead on the Dolphins and Jets.
gamblers will be paying close attention to the pre-game activities in New England tomorrow. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is listed as questionable with an injury, and if he cannot play, it could change the future of the AFC East.
Miami also will be playing a big game in Jacksonville. With the Steelers now out of the way, it looks as though the winner of the Jaguars-Dolphins game will have the inside track on a wild card spot.
Denver, which has the best record of any wild card team, will be looking to improve their playoff standing while showing they are an elite team in the league. The Broncos have the unenviable task of playing the undefeated Colts.
There is a crossroads game in the NFC as well. The New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles hook up in a game that could help determine an NFC playoff slot. The Eagles have already beaten the Giants earlier this season.
