NFL Football Picks: Bills Need To Rebound Against Browns
The Buffalo Bills were considered among the class of the AFC just four short weeks ago. They were on top of the AFC East and many were thinking they were the best team in the conference.
Oh, how the times have changed. Buffalo has played terrible football over the past month, and now are on the verge of falling out of the race for a division title.
The New York Jets took control of the division with their win last Thursday night over the Patriots. At 7-3, the Jets are alone in first place. The Dolphins and the Patriots are both 6-4, and the Bills need to win tonight against Cleveland to keep pace.
Everybody assumed that New England was a lock to win this division and that the Dolphins would be a cakewalk. Neither of those scenarios have happened. Miami is playing well, having won four in a row, and they have a last place schedule to help them down the stretch.
"We have to win tonight against Cleveland. If we fall any farther behind, it could be another season of no playoffs for us. Somehow we just have to win," said Billy Trubin, a lifelong Bills fan.
Trubin showed the anxiety with which Bills fans will watch the game tonight. The Browns are certainly not a pushover, but they have shown they can give up leads. They had big leads against both the Ravens and Broncos before losing to both teams the past two weeks.
