NFL Football Picks: Chargers And Browns Looking Strong
The San Diego Chargers season so far this year is mirroring what happened to them a year ago. They started slowly and then became one of the best teams in the league by the end of the year.
This year, they have started slowly, and then had a possible season changing game last week at home against the New England Patriots. The Chargers dominated all aspects of the game and beat up on the defending AFC champions.
The Cleveland Browns have also started poorly this year. The Browns lost their first three games, but have stormed back by winning two in a row. Last week, they defeated the Super Bowl champion New York Giants.
Normally, when betting is involved it is not a smart idea to use the previous week to judge teams that are not looking like playoff contenders. Cleveland, however, was almost a playoff team last year, and with their early season struggles behind them, look like they may make a run again this year.
The Browns are 7.5 point underdogs against Washington on Sunday afternoon. The Browns have the momentum, and may pull the upset here.
The Chargers are a pick against the Buffalo Bills. We suspect that this is the week the Bills come back to earth and San Diego reestablishes themselves as one of the top teams in the AFC.
