NFL Football Picks For Sunday: Watch For Bengals and Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins and the Cincinnati Bengals are two of the NFL's worst teams stretching back to last year. The start of the new season has only seemed to be an extension of the horror's of last year for these two teams.

That could all change with one win for either of these teams today. Both teams are double digit underdogs, but both could make things interesting for the teams they are facing.

The Bengals are playing the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants. The Giants have started the season where they left off in the Super Bowl and again appear on their way to defending their title in the playoffs.

That does not mean the Giants are unbeatable, however. One of these weeks the star offensive weapons for the Bengals are going to have to show up and play, and this week is as good as any. The Bengals should have no problem covering the thirteen points sports books are giving them, and they might even pull the upset.

The Dolphins are by far the worst NFL team over the past year. They won one game last year and that is only because former Ravens coach Brian Billick handed it to them. Things do not look to be getting better this year for Miami.

That does not mean they cannot still be the team that upsets a few favorites along the way. They have upgraded their quarterback position, and the team they face today, the Patriots, are still adjusting to life without their best player.

New England is favored by twelve, a figure that is awfully high with a possession quarterback running the show. This is a game, much like the Bengals-Giants, that could end up in an upset.
