NFL Football Picks: Lions, Rams, And Broncos Appear Safe
At this point in the season there is one burning question that is in the minds of football fans. Are the Cincinnati Bengals and Detroit Lions going to go through the season win less. The Lions have a shot to answer that this weekend.
Detroit goes on the road to play the division leading Bears. Although it is unlikely the Lions could pull the upset, they do have to win at some point this year, and being a large underdog inside the division could provide the motivation necessary to pull off that upset.
The St. Louis Rams have been playing much better football since Jim Haslett took over as their new head coach for the rest of the season. They are playing so well in fact, that some inside the organization think they may still make a playoff run in the weak NFC West. To do so, they will need to defeat the team at the top of that division today, the Arizona Cardinals.
In Denver, fans do not really know what they have in their Broncos. What they do know is their team can put up points on almost anybody in the league. That should help them defeat the Dolphins and get back on track.
The betting lines for these games would indicate that the Lions and Rams should lose. Chicago is favored by 12.5 over Detroit, and the Rams are three point underdogs at home against the Cardinals.
The most intriguing match up of Sunday takes place in Tennessee. Many experts are predicting that the Packers will hand the Titans their first loss. Tennessee will have to fight the urge of a let down performance after beating divisional rival Indianapolis on Monday night.
