NFL Football Picks: Rams And Bengals Could Create Chaos
The NFL has upsets every week. It is rare that every game is played over an NFL weekend and there is not at least one team that is favored that loses. This week will be no exception.
The St. Louis Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals have not done much winning this year. They are underdogs in nearly every game they play and this week is more of the same.
Both teams have shown the ability to hang around in games, however. This week, both teams could end up pulling an upset against the teams they are playing. The Rams against the Redskins, and the Bengals versus the Jets.
The tough part for both teams this week is that they will be on the road. It is not usually the road underdogs that fare well, but the Rams and Bengals have been close, and this is the week they could finally break through.
Washington is coming off a couple of high emotion games against the top teams in their division. They have defeated both the Cowboys and the Eagles. It is only natural that they experience some sort of letdown with the Rams coming to town.
The Jets are in a similar situation. They have been playing better of late and their quarterback, Brett Favre, is starting to gel with his receivers. The Bengals will be without their starting quarterback, Carson Palmer.
The betting line for the game has the Jets favored by 9.5. The Redskins are favored by 13 over the Rams.
