NFL Gambling Begins Tonight With Hall Of Fame Game
The NFL is back and that means that gambling on the NFL is also back. Many fans have waited the entire off season for the start of the season and that wait will end tonight.
The Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins kick off the 2008 season with the Hall of Fame game tonight at 8:00. The game itself will not be as significant as what it represents, the beginning of another season of football gambling.
The teams will not be at full strength for the opener. Peyton Manning will not be in the line up for the Colts. He is recovering from off season surgery, and is expected to be back for the start of the regular season.
Tonight's game will be little more than a few plays for the starters on these teams. It will be a first chance to see Jason Taylor in a Redskins uniform. He was traded from the Miami Dolphins just a few days into camp.
Of more importance tonight will be the play of the backups. They will begin their journey's of trying to make the final roster by winning a spot with their play.
The betting line on tonight's game is Redskins -4.5. The total for the game is 31.5. That is indicating that with the starters not going long into the game, that the defenses will dominate the night.
