NFL Monday Night Football Gambling Features Bucs And Panthers
Gamblers are not going to have an easy time tonight when trying to recover from their weekend. Monday Night Football features two of the hottest teams in the league in the Panthers and the Buccaneers.
Tampa Bay and Carolina are tied at the top of the NFC South and tonight's game could indicate not only which team wins the division, but also could mean a bye in the playoffs.
The Bucs are led by Jeff Garcia, who lost his job for a brief time. Since returning, however, the Bucs have played well on offense to go along with their strong defense.
Carolina has done the majority of the damage with their defense. Although the offense has both Jake Delhomme and Steve Smith, it has struggled to find an identity. Even with the offensive woes, Carolina is 9-3.
No NFC team outside the division will be within two games of the winner tonight for the second spot in the playoffs. The winner will also inch closer to the top spot that is currently held by the Giants at 11-2.
Gamblers typically use Monday night to rebound from poor weekends, or, conversely, to pad their winnings. This week will not be one of those games that will be easy to pick a winner.
