NFL Odds To Win The Super Bowl Has Chargers The Favorite
San Diego has already received good news this week, they are the #1 seed in the playoffs and had their running back named NFL MVP, now they must deal with the pressure of being the favorite to win the Super Bowl as they came out just over even money to win it all.
The Eagles and Ravens are the next choice, possibly because both teams come into the playoffs riding a wave of momentum. Both teams are 3 and a half to one picks to win the title.
The Chicago Bears are a team who has not received any respect all year despite the fact that they were tied with the leagues second best record, the oddsmakers also are giving them no respect by making them the fourth choice at 4 to 1.
New Orleans has been the feel good story of the year and they enter the playoofs at 5 to 1. The Saints will have a bye for the first round of the playoffs.
New England, a sleeper team in this years playoffs even though they have won three of the past five Super Bowls comes into the playoffs at 6.5 to 1.
The Colts have had to deal with the pressure of being the favorite the past few years and have not dealt with that pressure well as they have failed each year to even make the Super Bowl. This year, however, there is no such pressure as the Colts poor run defense has them at 7 to 1 odds.
Last years NFC representative in the Super Bowl, the Seattle Seahawks, is flying under the radar this season and enters the playoffs at 15 to 1.
Four teams are considered longshots to win the Super Bowl at 20-1, the Dallas Cowboys, both New York teams, the Jets and Giants, and the Kansas City Chiefs, who clinched a playoff spot only after both Denver and Cincinnati lost the last week of the season.
