NFL Playoff Betting Odds: Cowboys And Eagles Ready For Round Three
The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles have played each other twice already this NFL season. Those games, however, mean little compared to the playoff match up coming tonight.
The Cowboys won both games in the regular season with ease, but they understand that this Eagles are a dangerous team. Philadelphia was one game away from being the number two seed in the NFC and having this weekend off.
That did not happen, however, thanks to Dallas. The Cowboys ripped apart the Eagles in the regular season finale in Dallas just a week ago. Now, a repeat of that performance will send the Cowboys off to face the Minnesota Vikings next week.
Philadelphia is led by quarterback Donovan McNabb and a high powered offense. The unit has been stymied by the Cowboys in both meetings this year. Th Eagles are hoping that the third time will be a charm.
Dallas has quarterback Tony Romo playing some of the best football of his career. Romo and his team have quieted critics who have pointed to their late season swoon the past several years by having a strong December. Dallas has not won a playoff game in the new millennium.
The two teams both have analysts believing that they can represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. The first step takes place in Dallas tonight, with the winner moving closer to their goal and the loser going home.
